Thailand’s Tourism Authority partners with dnata Travel Group to enhance tourism in the country

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and dnata Travel Group have joined forces to boost tourism to Thailand, signing a Strategic Partnership Agreement at the Arabian Travel Market 2024 in Dubai, UAE. The agreement aims to attract more tourists from the Middle East to Thailand by leveraging dnata’s global network, particularly in the GCC region.

Both TAT and dnata will focus on promoting key niche markets such as sports, luxury, honeymoon, and wellness to entice discerning travelers. The collaboration will involve joint promotions tailored to elevate Thailand’s tourism profile across GCC countries like the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of TAT, and Mr. John Bevan, CEO of dnata Travel Group, in the presence of other officials from both organizations. Ms. Kiatphaibool emphasized the goal of establishing Thailand as a ‘Quality Leisure Destination’ through this partnership, focusing on sustainable tourism growth and unique experiences.

Mr. Bevan highlighted the alignment of the partnership with dnata’s strategy to cater to high-value niche markets, offering premium experiences to travelers. The collaboration between TAT and dnata is seen as a significant step towards enhancing tourism to Thailand and providing exceptional travel experiences to visitors from the Middle East and beyond.
