The study analyzed web traffic data to determine the most visited travel websites in the country based on the total number of visits they received each month.

With approximately 428 million total visits in 2023, Tripadvisor took the top spot, receiving an average of 35.7 million monthly visits. The website was most popular in August, with around 41.2 million visits. Tripadvisor is known for its user-generated reviews and comparison of travel websites to showcase the best deals.

Following closely behind was Booking.com, with around 127.9 million total visits throughout the year. The website compares prices for hotels, flights, transport, and attractions, highlighting the best deals for travelers. TUI secured the third position with approximately 120.2 million visits in 2023, offering a wide range of holiday options including flights, cruises, and hotels.

Other popular travel and tourism websites in the top ten list included Trainline, Skyscanner, Easyjet, Jet2holidays, British Airways, Expedia, and Loveholidays. The study also highlighted the increasing trend of online travel bookings, making it easier for travelers to plan and book their trips in advance.
