Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading homegrown SUV manufacturer, has made significant strides in automotive technology, allowing them to offer their latest SUV, the revamped XUV3X0, at an aggressive price point. With a starting price of ₹7.49 lakh, the XUV3X0 is the most affordable option in the compact SUV category, competing with popular models like Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue.

Rajesh Jejurikar, executive director and CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra, highlighted the company’s focus on investing in automotive technology, giving them a competitive edge in the market. The XUV3X0 boasts advanced features like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious buyers.

In comparison to rivals like Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Motors’ Nexon, Mahindra’s XUV3X0 offers a compelling value proposition with its combination of features and affordability. The company plans to manufacture 9,000 units of the XUV3X0 initially, with the potential to increase production capacity to 10,500 units per month with additional investments.

Jejurikar expressed Mahindra’s ambition to become a key player in the SUV segment, aiming to be the largest or second-largest player in the next three years. Despite the success of the XUV3X0, Mahindra remains committed to its brand DNA and does not rule out the possibility of introducing even smaller vehicles in the future.
