The inaugural flight on May 1 will offer nonstop service from Munich to Vancouver, showcasing the “most personalized travel experience” that Lufthansa has ever offered. With an investment of 2.5 billion euros, the Allegris concept promises a complete reimagination of the onboard product, catering to various travel needs, preferences, and budgets.

The first-class suites will feature amenities such as large entertainment screens, dining tables, heating and cooling options, and wireless charging areas. Passengers will also have access to personal wardrobes while inflight. In business class, there will be a mix of suites, pods, and extra-long beds, providing passengers with a range of seating concepts.

The Allegris product is expected to expand to more of Lufthansa’s long-haul fleet, including future deliveries of Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 777-9s, as well as retrofits of existing Boeing 747-8 aircraft. Booking for Allegris-equipped flights will be available about three weeks in advance, offering travelers a chance to experience the new cabins on select routes.

Overall, the introduction of Allegris cabins represents a significant milestone for Lufthansa, promising a more comfortable and luxurious travel experience for passengers in the years to come.
