The economic landscape of Akwa Ibom State is set for a major transformation as 800 trainees receive a generous grant of N400 million to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey. This significant move is part of the state government’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and wealth creation under the ARISE Agenda.

Governor Umo Eno, who has been championing the economic development of the state, expressed his delight at the fruition of the Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme (EAP) which equipped the beneficiaries with the necessary skills to succeed in their business ventures. The grants, totaling N400 million, are a testament to the government’s unwavering support for the business community in Akwa Ibom.

During the presentation of the grants, Governor Eno urged the beneficiaries to make the most of this opportunity for personal and economic growth. He emphasized the importance of dedication, perseverance, and a mindset focused on success. The governor also shared some valuable business tips with the recipients, encouraging them to prioritize their entrepreneurial journey over other distractions.
