Leah Dembitzer, a prominent figure in the Scarsdale community, has taken on a new challenge by running for the Board of Education. With a long history of volunteer work in various leadership roles, including President of the PT Council and the League of Women Voters, Dembitzer is now looking to bring her expertise to the school board.

In an interview, Dembitzer expressed her deep love for the Scarsdale schools and her desire to preserve and enhance the student experience. She highlighted important issues facing the school district, such as future budget planning, maintenance of school buildings, and student mental health and wellness.
