Former 30 Rock actor Maulik Pancholy faced backlash after the Cumberland Valley School Board in Pennsylvania unanimously voted to cancel his scheduled anti-bullying assembly at a middle school. He questioned why the school board was afraid of promoting empathy and building connections through his visit.
