Get ready to immerse yourself in the magical world of Princess Tiana as Disney World announces the opening date of the highly anticipated attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Set to replace the iconic Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom, this new ride is set to open its doors to guests on June 28.
For those eager to get a sneak peek of the ride, Walt Disney World annual pass holders and Disney Vacation Club members will have the opportunity to do so starting May 14, when additional information on the preview process will be released.
The new storyline of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure takes place after the beloved movie “The Princess and the Frog,” set during Mardi Gras season. Guests can expect a bayou full of music, magic, and new friends, including popular characters from the film in the form of all-new animatronics voiced by the original stars.
The ride will feature all-new music, including favorite hits from “The Princess and the Frog,” and even the scent of frying beignets in the attraction’s queue to transport visitors to the French Quarter setting.
While the former Splash Mountain attraction at Disneyland in California is also undergoing a transformation into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the opening timeline for this project on the West Coast is set for later in 2024.
