Marietta Volleyball Coach Ron Kidder Leads Successful Coach K Volleyball Camp

Marietta High School’s Coach K Volleyball Camp, led by head coach Ron Kidder, has been a staple in the community for years, and this year’s camp was no exception. The camp, which featured 250 participants, including seven returning seniors from the successful Marietta volleyball team, was a huge success.

The camp not only provides valuable skills training for the young athletes but also serves as a way for the senior players to give back to the community and inspire the next generation of volleyball players. The seniors, including Emma Middleton, Tori Dawson, and Anna Ritter, shared their experiences and skills with the campers, creating a positive and encouraging environment for all involved.

Kidder, who has been running the camp for 26 years, expressed his pride in the growth and success of the camp over the years. With the help of his assistants and players, the campers were able to participate in various drills and activities, gaining valuable experience and knowledge about the sport.

The camp also provided a behind-the-scenes look at the Marietta volleyball experience, including a tour of the locker room and the opportunity to interact with the senior players. The campers received prizes throughout the week, including signed memorabilia, but the real highlight was the chance to spend time with their volleyball idols.

As the camp came to a close, the focus shifted to the upcoming volleyball season, with both the seniors and Kidder expressing excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead. With a strong senior class leading the way, the Marietta volleyball team is poised for another successful season, and the camp served as the perfect kickoff to what promises to be an exciting year for the program.
