Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a thrilling turn of events, the Minnesota Timberwolves managed to avoid a sweep in the Western Conference finals against the Dallas Mavericks with a 105-100 victory in Game 4. Karl-Anthony Towns, who had been struggling with his shooting throughout the series, found his rhythm in the second half, scoring 20 of his 25 points to lead the Wolves to victory.

Anthony Edwards also had a standout performance with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, keeping the Wolves alive in their first conference finals appearance in 20 years. Luka Doncic recorded his sixth triple-double of the playoffs for the Mavericks, but he and Kyrie Irving struggled with their shooting, going 13 of 39 from the field.

Towns’ clutch 3-pointers in the final minutes of the game sealed the win for Minnesota, as they finally closed out a game in the series. Despite facing foul trouble, the Wolves managed to hold off the Mavericks and secure the crucial victory.

With the series now at 3-1 in favor of Dallas, the Timberwolves will look to continue their momentum and force a Game 6 back in Dallas. The team’s resilience and determination in Game 4 have given them hope of extending the series and making a comeback against the Mavericks. Stay tuned for Game 5 on Thursday night to see if the Wolves can keep the excitement alive in the Western Conference finals.
