Top Companies Recognized at the 2024 Ghana Business and Innovation Awards

The 2024 Ghana Business and Innovations Awards, organized by Millennium Communications, a subsidiary of KN Communications Group, celebrated the achievements of 2 individuals and 21 companies that have made significant contributions to various sectors in Ghana. The event, endorsed by the West Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Strategic Accountancy, recognized businesses that not only provided exceptional services but also demonstrated dedication, excellence, and innovation in their operations.

The awards ceremony, which aims to acknowledge organizations that have shown extraordinary business resilience, compassion, and humility in their service delivery, highlighted the importance of innovation in the current era of digitalization. Honorees included Dr. Joe Anokye, Director General of the National Communications Authority, who won the Exemplary Leadership Award in the Technology Sector, and Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, CEO of Consolidated Bank Ghana, who received the Exemplary Leadership Award in Banking.

Other winners included Capemay Properties Ghana for Real Estate Company of the Year (Luxury), Savanna Diamond Cement Limited for Cement Company of the Year, and MTN Mobile Money for the Mobile Money Leadership Award. The event also recognized companies like Prudential Life Insurance, GNPC Foundation, and Digital Jewels Ltd for their outstanding contributions to their respective industries.

The Chairman of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nana Agyenim Boateng, emphasized the importance of creating the right economic environment for businesses to thrive. He called for companies to unite and hold stakeholders accountable to ensure sustainable growth and development in Ghana. The 2024 Ghana Business and Innovations Awards showcased the best of Ghana’s business community and highlighted the importance of innovation and excellence in driving economic progress.
