The 2024 Latin American Music Awards are set to take place this Thursday, April 25, live from Las Vegas via Univision. With the theme “We Speak Música,” the awards ceremony will feature its first-ever bilingual edition co-hosted by Thalia, Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce. The top nominees for this year are Feid and Peso Pluma, each receiving 12 nods.
In addition to the nominees, special tributes and awards will be given to Banda MS, Ricardo Montaner, and Yandel. The Latin AMAs will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. ET from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas via Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, and ViX.
During rehearsals, several artists shared exciting news about upcoming projects. Danny Ocean discussed his forthcoming album “Reflexa,” while Farruko revealed a collaboration with Ky-Mani Marley for his next studio album. Wisin also announced the release of his project “Mr. W,” featuring collaborations with various artists.
Los Avengers, a reggaetón collective, will be making a comeback at the Latin AMAs, with members Justin Quiles, Sech, Dalex, and Dimelo Flow talking about their new album and the excitement surrounding their performance.
AB Quintanilla, part of Banda MS’ tribute performance, shared a heartfelt initiative with his latest single, dedicating all financial proceeds to the late artist Lefty SM’s family. Yandel discussed his joint EP with Feid, while Becky G expressed her excitement about co-hosting the bilingual broadcast and reflected on her career since the release of “Shower” 10 years ago.
