Equinox Launches Groundbreaking Holistic Program in the Hamptons
The Hamptons have long been known for their upscale lifestyle and dedication to health and fitness, with Lululemon and Hokas replacing traditional daytime wear and a community of weekend warriors embracing a culture of wellness. This season, Equinox is taking it to the next level with the launch of Optimize by Equinox, a groundbreaking holistic program in partnership with Function Health, founded by longevity guru Mark Hyman, M.D.
Priced at $40,000 per year and available exclusively at E by Equinox clubs and the Bridgehampton location, Optimize aims to maximize members’ peak physical potential and improve their long-term health. The program utilizes biodata gathered from over 100 biomarkers and protocols, analyzed by medical experts to tailor a personalized health plan for each member.
In addition to the cutting-edge health benefits, Equinox is also enhancing the Bridgehampton club with an outdoor barrel sauna and cold plunge, taking advantage of the bucolic setting to aid in post-workout recovery through contrast therapy.
But Equinox isn’t the only fitness hotspot in the Hamptons making waves. Kevyn Zeller, a Pilates expert, is focusing on restoring alignment and posture at her new studio in East Hampton. Post House, a boutique gym in Sag Harbor, is merging social and fitness worlds with posture-based exercises and weightlifting techniques.
From house calls for Pilates and water aerobics to innovative classes at hotels like Gurney’s and the Montauk Yacht Club, the Hamptons fitness scene is booming with options for every wellness enthusiast.
