In a thrilling baseball matchup between Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (TMB) and Russell Tyler-Ruthton (RTR), the Panthers emerged victorious with a 20-17 win after a game filled with lead changes, missed opportunities, and a total of 37 runs scored.

The game, which saw six lead changes and a total of 26 hits between both teams, kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very end. TMB head coach James Fultz commented on the unpredictable nature of early season baseball, noting the back-and-forth nature of the game and the missed opportunities on both sides.

The seventh inning proved to be the turning point, as TMB rallied for nine runs to take a commanding lead. Despite RTR’s valiant effort to come back in the bottom of the inning, TMB managed to secure the win with solid defensive plays.

Both teams showed resilience and determination throughout the game, with RTR coach Danny Moffitt praising his team’s fighting spirit despite the challenges they faced. Sean Griesse, who had an outstanding performance with five hits in the game, highlighted the importance of staying positive and making necessary adjustments to succeed.

With this win, TMB remains undefeated at 4-0 on the season, while RTR falls to 2-2. Both teams will look to continue their competitive play in upcoming matchups, with TMB facing Yellow Medicine East and RTR taking on Murray County Central in their next games.
