Jefferson High School athletes showcased their talent at the Dwight Scott Battlefield Blast Invitational, with impressive performances in various track and field events. Senior Jazmyn Taylor placed fourth in the women’s long jump, reaching a distance of 15-11.5 feet. Junior Aden Gestl clocked in at 18.55 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, displaying his speed and agility. Senior Jared Wilberger gave his all in the shot put, achieving a maximum throw of 34 feet 10 inches.

The highlight of the event was the men’s 4 x 200 meter relay, where Jefferson High School excelled. Tony Allen smoothly passed the baton to Caleb Shelton, leading the team to victory with a remarkable time of 1:29.35 minutes.

The athletes’ dedication and hard work paid off as they represented their school with pride and skill. The event was a testament to their commitment to excellence and their passion for track and field.
