The Department of Tourism and non-profit organization Go Negosyo joined forces once again to host the third edition of the Tourism Summit in Parañaque City. The event, held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, brought together 200 key stakeholders, social media strategists, and business leaders to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the tourism sector.

Led by Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion, and guest of honor First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, the summit also featured the presentation of the Inspiring Tourism Entrepreneur Awards to outstanding individuals in various categories such as accommodations, tour services, sustainable ecotourism, and unique attractions. Additionally, digital content creators and social media influencers were recognized for their contributions in showcasing the Philippines’ heritage, culture, cuisine, and destinations.

The star-studded event was attended by notable personalities such as travel vlogger Kyle “Kulas” Jenerrmann, Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Michelle Dee, and Chef RV Manabat, among others. Hosts Issa Litton, Sam YG, and Go Negosyo adviser Jophine Romero kept the program engaging and informative for the audience, which included students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and travel enthusiasts.

For those who couldn’t attend the summit in person, the event was live-streamed to ensure wider access and participation. Last year, the DOT and Go Negosyo collaborated to host the Tourism Summit in Cebu, where 20 enterprises in the tourism industry and ten travel vloggers were recognized for their contributions to promoting the country’s tourism. The success of this year’s summit highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving the growth of the tourism sector in the Philippines.
