Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce is gearing up for his second annual Kelce Jam music festival, and he’s taking some inspiration from his Grammy-winning girlfriend, Taylor Swift. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kelce shared some valuable advice he’s learned from the pop star.
“Don’t try and be Taylor, that’s what I learned,” Kelce said. “Yeah, she’s on a whole other stratosphere. She’s the best at what she does for a reason.” Kelce went on to praise Swift for being “so articulate” in everything she does, emphasizing that he simply enjoys the experience of being around her and her fans.
With big names like Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz set to perform at the Kelce Jam on May 18, Kelce is eagerly anticipating the event. “It was such a blast that I had to do it again this year. I’m so excited,” he expressed. “It’s going to be so much fun, and I cannot wait to get back out and celebrate with KC, man.”
While Kelce hasn’t hosted a major concert since last year’s Kelce Jam, he has been supporting Swift on her global Eras Tour, traveling to countries like Argentina, Singapore, and Australia. Kelce admires Swift’s ability to connect with her fans and plans to incorporate that into his own event.
In a recent Instagram story with former NBA player Chandler Parsons, Kelce showed off his golf skills before dancing to Swift’s hit song from 2014. It’s clear that Kelce is not only a talented athlete but also a supportive partner who values the influence and artistry of his girlfriend.
