Trinity Balog, the all-time leading scorer for Parkersburg High School’s basketball team, has officially signed to continue her career at California University of Pennsylvania. Balog, a Class AAAA first team all-stater, made the announcement on Monday afternoon inside Memorial Fieldhouse.
With 1,456 career points and a record-breaking single-game score of 44 points, Balog has proven herself as a standout player on the court. She also maintains an impressive 4.04 GPA and plans to major in special education while exploring coaching opportunities.
In an interview, Balog expressed her excitement about the next chapter in her basketball career. She shared her aspirations of winning a national championship with her new team at Cal U and making a lasting impact on the program.
Parkersburg High School’s head coach, Chris Murray, praised Balog for her dedication and leadership both on and off the court. He highlighted her work ethic and the positive influence she had on the team throughout her high school career.
