Trucker making strides in Mr. Health and Fitness contest

Reading Time: < 1 minute

DGH (Dutch Gold Honey) Logistics OTR driver Francis Junto is not your typical trucker. He’s not just hauling freight across the country, he’s also on a mission to improve his health and fitness. Junto is currently competing in the Mr. Health and Fitness competition, where men share their stories of health and body transformation.

Junto, a 30-plus-year veteran trucker, has made significant changes to his lifestyle over the past decade. He has slimmed down from nearly 200 pounds to between 170 and 180 pounds, and he’s not stopping there. Junto is among the top 20 competitors in his group, vying for the title and the chance to be featured on the cover of Muscle & Fitness magazine.

Despite the challenges of life on the road, Junto has found ways to stay active and healthy. He credits regular exercise, including running and weightlifting, for keeping him in shape. He even packs his running gear in the truck and takes advantage of delays to get a workout in.

Junto’s dedication to his health has paid off, both physically and mentally. He’s still running the roads, delivering goods for DGH, and feeling better than ever. He’s proof that with hard work and determination, anyone can make positive changes to their health, no matter their circumstances.

As the public voting for the Mr. Health and Fitness competition continues, Junto is hoping to secure enough votes to advance to the next round. Whether he wins or not, Junto’s story is an inspiration to truckers and anyone looking to improve their health. So, here’s to Francis Junto and all those who are putting in the work to live their best lives.
