Truecaller, the popular caller ID application with millions of users worldwide, has introduced a new web client for Android users in India. The web version of the app brings a host of new features, including the ability to search for unknown numbers and receive real-time call alert notifications.

Users can access the Truecaller web client by visiting ‘web.truecaller.com’ on their browser and linking their device by scanning a QR code. Once connected, users can send and receive SMS, attach files up to 100MB, and set real-time call alert notifications for incoming calls.

The web version also allows users to mirror Truecaller chat and SMS, making it easier to manage communication across devices. Truecaller has implemented a 30-day inactivity logout feature to ensure security, similar to popular messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.

One of the standout features of the Truecaller web client is the absence of rate limitations when searching for unknown numbers. Users can now search for as many numbers as they want without any restrictions.

In recent months, Truecaller has been rolling out new features like an AI-powered spam call detector and the ability to transcribe and summarize call recordings. The company has stated that the web client is currently in beta, with more features expected to be added in the future.

Overall, the Truecaller web client offers Android users in India a convenient way to manage their calls, messages, and unknown numbers seamlessly across devices.
