Trump and Dr. Phil criticize NY felony conviction and claim Biden can prevent state prosecutions: ‘Don’t be gullible’

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a recent interview on Dr Phil Primetime, former President Donald Trump made explosive claims about his recent hush money trial and ongoing legal battles, with the host echoing his sentiments and offering little pushback.

During the interview, Trump asserted that Democrats were behind the criminal case against him in New York and the election conspiracy case in Georgia, despite both being state cases. He also criticized the gag order imposed against him during the trial, claiming it was an attempt to silence him.

Trump did not hold back in his criticism of the judge overseeing the trial, Judge Juan Merchan, whom he described as corrupt. He also accused witnesses, including his former lawyer Michael Cohen, of being coerced into testifying against him.

Dr Phil joined in on the criticism, questioning the legal principles at play in Trump’s trial and expressing disbelief at the burden of proof lying with the prosecution.

The former president’s claims and the host’s support of them have sparked controversy and raised questions about the state of justice and politics in the country. With Trump leading in the polls for the 2024 election, his legal battles and public statements are sure to remain in the spotlight.
