Trump attempts to revise account of events at Libertarian Convention following audience backlash

Former President Donald Trump faced a surprising turn of events at the Libertarian National Convention in Washington DC, where he was met with loud boos and jeers from the audience. Despite this, Trump confidently suggested that the Libertarian Party should nominate him for president, only to be met with disdain.

He reposted messages from his allies praising his speech and claimed that he could have won the party’s nomination if he had wanted it. However, Libertarian Party Chair Angela McArdle clarified that Trump had not even qualified for the nomination due to his failure to submit necessary paperwork.

Trump also took aim at his independent rival Robert F Kennedy Jr, calling him a “Radical Left Democrat” and claiming that only a fool would vote for him. Ultimately, neither Trump nor RFK Jr secured the party’s nomination, with Chase Oliver emerging as the chosen candidate.

Despite Trump’s attempts to paint a positive picture of his reception at the convention, his allies, including South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, continued to support his alternate reality. However, it was later revealed that the red hats spotted at the convention were actually in support of Argentinian President Javier Milei, not Trump.
