Trump claims London has become unrecognisable and is now vulnerable to jihad in fiery rally speech

Former President Donald Trump made controversial remarks during a rally in Wisconsin, claiming that London and Paris have become unrecognisable due to opening their doors to jihad. Trump ranted about pro-Palestine college protests and the idea of letting Palestinian refugees into the country, stating that he would never allow America to undergo the same transformation.

Trump offered no evidence for his claims, but continued to assert that Europe’s decision to welcome refugees had led to the cities losing their identities. He criticized President Joe Biden’s administration for reportedly considering measures to welcome Palestinians with American relatives into the US, prompting boos from the crowd.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has a history of tension with Trump, responded to the remarks by emphasizing London’s commitment to unity and hope over fear. Trump and Khan have clashed in the past, with Trump accusing Khan of doing a “very bad job on terrorism” during his state visit to the UK in 2018.

The rally also touched on the situation in Gaza, where more than 34,000 Palestinians have been killed amid conflict with Israel. Pro-Palestine protests on college campuses in the US were also mentioned, with Trump referring to protestors as “raging lunatics and Hamas sympathizers” and calling on college presidents to remove them.
