The 30-second video showcased articles styled like newspapers from the early 1900s, with text recycled from reports on World War I, including mentions of “German industrial strength” and “peace through strength.” One article in the video claimed Trump would deport 15 million migrants in a second term, while another headline suggested he would reject “globalists,” a term associated with antisemitism.

The Trump campaign stated that the video was posted by a staff member while Trump was in his criminal trial in New York City. Despite calls for its removal, the video remained on his account late into the night.

Critics have accused Trump of using language reminiscent of past authoritarian leaders and promoting extremist views. His association with white supremacists and antisemites, as well as his inflammatory remarks towards Jewish voters, have raised concerns about his rhetoric and intentions for a potential second term.
