Trump ‘warns’ Biden with image of president tied up and held captive in the back of Maga truck

Former president Donald Trump is facing backlash on social media after sharing a video on Truth Social featuring Maga-branded pickup trucks with an image of president Joe Biden bound and kidnapped in the back. The video, posted with little commentary, shows two trucks adorned with flags and messages supporting Trump’s potential 2024 run.

The image of President Biden with his hands and feet tied sparked outrage and concerns about promoting violence or threatening the president. Former US attorney Joyce Alene White Vance called for the Secret Service to take the incident seriously, stating that Trump’s post was “totally out of bounds.”

The US Secret Service responded, stating they do not confirm or comment on protective intelligence matters. The Biden campaign emphasized the need to take Trump’s incitement of political violence seriously, referencing the January 6 Capitol riots.

In response, Trump’s campaign spokesman Steven Cheung defended the post, claiming it was simply a picture on a passing truck and accusing Democrats of inciting violence against Trump and his family.

The video has ignited a debate about the boundaries of political discourse and the responsibility of public figures in shaping the national conversation. Critics argue that Trump’s post crosses a line, while supporters maintain it is a harmless expression of political opinion. The incident highlights the ongoing polarization and tensions in American politics.
