Avianca, a lesser-known airline in the U.S., has launched two new credit cards in partnership with Cardless, offering exciting benefits for frequent flyers. The Avianca LifeMiles Elite American Express Card, a mid-tier option, comes with a metal design and an annual fee of $249. It offers a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 miles, with earning rates of 3 LifeMiles per dollar on Avianca purchases, 2 LifeMiles per dollar on dining and non-Avianca travel, and 1 LifeMile per dollar on all other purchases.

The card also provides a 10% mileage rebate, access to the LifeMiles+ program, and exclusive reduced-mileage promotions. Cardholders can enjoy LifeMiles Silver status, which includes Star Alliance Silver status benefits like priority check-in and boarding.

On the other hand, the Avianca LifeMiles American Express Card, an entry-level option with an annual fee of $99, offers a welcome bonus of up to 40,000 miles and earning rates of 2 LifeMiles per dollar on Avianca purchases, groceries, and restaurants, and 1 LifeMile per dollar on all other purchases. Cardholders also receive LifeMiles Silver status and its associated benefits.

Both cards provide access to Avianca lounges and are worth considering for those who fly Avianca or other Star Alliance partners regularly. With no foreign transaction fees and instant digital card delivery, these cards offer great value for travelers looking to maximize their rewards and benefits.
