Two South Florida high school seniors, Christopher Raphael and Ervin Cruz, were in for a surprise when they thought they were attending an event to record a video for an educational scholarship competition from Amazon. Little did they know, they had already secured the win and were the proud recipients of a $40,000 scholarship each.

Both students had worked tirelessly to secure the scholarship, which will provide much-needed financial assistance for their college education and help them pursue their dreams of becoming computer science professionals. Christopher expressed his dedication to his studies and community service, feeling that he truly deserved this opportunity.

Both students, who attend McFatter Technical High School and Sheridan Technician High School, have also been accepted into Ivy League schools. They are now looking forward to a bright future with an express ticket to college and a paid internship at Amazon.

The parents of the two winners were equally surprised and proud of their children’s accomplishments, thanking them for their hard work and dedication throughout the scholarship process. The students, in turn, expressed their gratitude to their families for their unwavering support.

As they celebrate this big achievement, both students are excited about what lies ahead and hope to secure full-time positions at Amazon once their internships are completed. Their success story serves as an inspiration to other students who are working hard to achieve their academic and career goals.
