In a recent report by U.S. News and World Report, the Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Fresno and Tulare counties have been revealed. These outpatient centers have been ranked based on risk-adjusted measures of patient outcomes, including complications, ER visits, and unplanned hospital visits.

Out of the 16 ambulatory surgery centers in Fresno County, four have received the highest rating of “one.” Among them, Eye-Q Surgery Center, Renaissance Surgery Center, and Spine and Pain Treatment Medical Center of Santa Barbara have been named the Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers with a score of 3/3.

In Tulare County, Noble Surgery Center has been recognized as the Best Ambulatory Surgery Center with a score of 3/3. The report also includes rankings for two Kings County centers and one center in Madera County.

According to Ben Harder, the chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News and World Report, same-day procedures are becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to overnight hospital care. The report aims to provide patients with a data-driven tool to help them navigate their healthcare needs.

Overall, less than 15% of the evaluated facilities earned a “high performing” rating of 3/3. The rankings serve as a valuable resource for patients seeking quality care at ambulatory surgery centers in the region.
