Naples, Florida claimed the top spot on the list, thanks to its strong job market and high quality of life. The rankings saw some new entries in the top 25 due to a change in data collection methodology, which now focuses on city-based data rather than metropolitan area-based data.

Erika Giovanetti, a loans expert and reporter for U.S. News, highlighted the importance of considering factors that directly impact the livability and overall experience of a place when choosing a place to call home. The top 10 places to live in the United States, according to the U.S. News methodology, include cities like Boise, Idaho, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Austin, Texas.
