UAE President Continues to Receive Condolences for Third Day Following the Passing of Tahnoun bin Mohammed from International Delegations and Mourners

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been receiving condolences for the third consecutive day following the passing of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. Delegations from several countries, government agencies, diplomatic missions, and crowds of mourners have been offering their sympathies to the President during this difficult time.

Among those who offered their condolences were His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs and Representative of His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait; His Excellency Dr Dah Ould Amar Taleb, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Areen Masrour Barzani, Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq; and His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles.

Additionally, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, conveyed the condolences of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, alongside His Royal Highness Prince Dr Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The condolences were accepted at Qasr Al Mushrif in Abu Dhabi by a number of dignitaries including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; and H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, among others.

Mourners prayed for God Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed and asked for patience and solace for his family, relatives, and members of the Al Nahyan family. They remembered the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed’s prosperous career and humanitarian contributions during his many decades of service to his country and its development.

The passing of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan has brought together people from various countries and backgrounds to offer their condolences and support to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Al Nahyan family during this time of mourning. The outpouring of sympathy and respect for the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed is a testament to the impact he had on those around him and the legacy he leaves behind.

As the President continues to receive condolences from dignitaries and mourners, the memory of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the history of the UAE. May he rest in peace.
