President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Excellency Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence of Australia, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi today. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the UAE and Australia, particularly in the areas of defence and military affairs.
Discussions between His Highness and the Australian Minister for Defence also touched upon key issues in the Middle East and efforts to enhance security and stability in the region. The meeting highlighted the shared interests and common goals of both countries in promoting peace and security.
In addition to the meeting with the Australian Minister, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also received His Excellency Taulant Bala, Minister of Interior of Albania. The discussions centered on enhancing relations between the UAE and Albania, with a focus on cooperation in policing and security fields.
The presence of high-ranking officials at the Qasr Al Bahr majlis, including Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, underscored the importance of the discussions and the commitment to strengthening ties with Australia and Albania.
