UAE’s Brand Dubai highlights the culinary innovation of 10 local businesses

The Arab Media Summit 2024 kicked off today at the Dubai World Trade Centre with a unique twist – a showcase of the culinary creativity of 10 homegrown businesses from Brand Dubai’s ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network. This initiative aims to highlight the success stories of businesses born and thriving in Dubai, showcasing the city’s vibrant food scene and entrepreneurial spirit.

The event, which is part of the Arab Media Summit, the largest media thought leadership platform in the Middle East, features a diverse range of restaurants and cafes offering their best-selling dishes, desserts, and popular coffee blends to attendees. From savory snacks to delectable treats, guests are in for a culinary treat as they sample the creations of these local businesses.

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, expressed the organization’s commitment to supporting the growth of Dubai-based businesses and raising their visibility on a global platform. She emphasized that the culinary showcase not only celebrates Dubai’s dynamic food scene but also reflects the city’s journey of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Among the standout participants at the event is ‘Two Miles Coffee’, known for its meticulously crafted coffee beverages and matcha offerings tailored to suit different tastes. ‘More Matcha’ café is delighting guests with a variety of beverages and sweets, adding to the gastronomic experience of the summit. ‘Mara Restaurant and Lounge’ is serving up bites from around the world, while ‘Another One Restaurant and Cafe’ showcases its culinary expertise in blending quality and creativity.

Other participants include ‘Plain’ café, offering a selection of hot and cold beverages alongside a menu of snacks and desserts, and ‘Dining Boutique’, which presents a fusion of European and Mediterranean-inspired dishes prepared by master chefs using locally sourced ingredients. ‘Lea Café’ is treating guests to invigorating coffee blends, while ‘Sadeem Specialty Coffee’ offers international desserts paired with a range of coffee blends. ‘Sillage’ café and ‘FIX’ restaurant also join the lineup, serving unique coffee collections and delicious bites to cater to diverse tastes.

The culinary showcase not only provides a platform for these entrepreneurs to showcase their talents but also positions Dubai as a global economic hub that nurtures entrepreneurship and fosters business growth. It serves as a testament to the city’s commitment to innovation and creativity in all aspects of its thriving culinary landscape.
