UConn’s Graduate Education Achieves High Ranking in New National Report

The University of Connecticut’s graduate education programs have once again been recognized as some of the best in the nation, according to new rankings from U.S. News & World Report. The Neag School of Education, School of Business, School of Law, and School of Social Work all received high marks, showcasing UConn’s commitment to excellence across a variety of disciplines.

The Neag School of Education made the honor roll this year, with four graduate programs ranking among the best in the nation. Dean Jason G. Irizarry expressed immense pride in the faculty, staff, and students for their hard work and dedication that led to these impressive rankings. The School of Law also saw a significant rise in the rankings, with a particular strength in bar passage and employment outcomes for graduates.

Meanwhile, the UConn School of Social Work climbed to No. 28 in the national rankings, highlighting its growing research portfolio and innovative academic programming. Dean Laura Curran emphasized the school’s long-standing partnerships and impact on communities locally and globally.

Additionally, the UConn School of Business’s part-time MBA program, known as the FLEX MBA, was ranked No. 33 in the nation, up from No. 37 last year. Executive Director Mia Hawlk attributed the ranking increase to a commitment to the student experience and the creation of innovative courses.
