Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is set to showcase the emirate’s innovative and diverse destination offering at the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) from May 06-09, 2024. With a focus on ‘Empowering Innovation – Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship’, DET will bring together 129 key partners and stakeholders to highlight Dubai’s collaborative spirit.

The event will feature representatives from government entities, hotels, destination management companies, and tour operators, including key partners like the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA-Dubai) and Dubai Health Authority. His Excellency, Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), emphasized Dubai’s commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship in driving tourism growth.

Dubai welcomed a record 17.15 million international overnight visitors in 2023, solidifying its position as the No.1 global destination for the third consecutive year. The city continues to expand its offerings, blending modernity with culture to provide a unique experience for visitors.

In line with sustainability initiatives, DET will release the inaugural ‘Dubai Sustainability Report’ at ATM, showcasing efforts like the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Stamp and the Dubai Can movement. The city’s commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated through initiatives like Dubai Reef, the world’s largest marine reef development project.

Additionally, DET will host the ATM Hosted Buyers Programme, promoting Dubai’s hospitality to 600 buyers from 46 different markets. Visitors can also enjoy interactive experiences like ‘Dubai Pinball’ at the Dubai stand, highlighting the city’s iconic landmarks.

With a focus on gastronomy and upcoming events like the Dubai Food Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises, DET aims to showcase Dubai’s year-round appeal as a top travel destination.
