Reading Time: < 1 minute

Universal Orlando is gearing up for an action-packed summer with the announcement of new attractions and experiences at Universal Studios Florida. The theme park giant is set to debut a parade, a nighttime lagoon show, a projection show in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and more starting June 14.

One of the highlights of the summer lineup is “Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular,” a nighttime show that will transform the park’s lagoon with music, fountains, projection mapping, and drones. Guests can expect to be immersed in the world of blockbuster films like “Jurassic World,” “Jaws,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Harry Potter,” with iconic scenes and characters projected onto fountains over the lagoon.

Another exciting addition is the Universal Mega Movie Parade, set to debut on July 3. The parade will feature 13 new floats celebrating classic films like “E.T.,” “Back to the Future,” and “Jaws,” as well as recent blockbusters like “Jurassic World” and “Minions.” With special effects and nearly 100 performers, this parade promises to be a spectacle not to be missed.

In addition to these new experiences, Universal Orlando will also be opening DreamWorks Land on June 14, featuring attractions, play areas, meet-and-greets, and a live show themed to popular DreamWorks films like “Shrek” and “Kung Fu Panda.”

With so much excitement in store, now is the perfect time to plan your summer visit to Universal Orlando. From choosing your favorite Universal hotel to exploring the best rides and restaurants, this summer promises to be a blockbuster hit at the theme park.
