The Wake Forest men’s tennis team secured a spot in the NCAA Quarterfinals with a thrilling 4-1 victory over Stanford. The Demon Deacons, seeded No. 6, displayed their dominance on the court, clinching the win at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
This victory marks the fourth time in program history that Wake Forest has reached the Elite Eight, with their last appearance in 2019. The team’s stellar performance was highlighted by their strong start in doubles, where they secured a 1-0 lead early on.
Notable performances came from DK Suresh Ekambaram, who defeated the No. 55 ranked player in three sets, and Luca Pow, who extended his winning streak to 18 matches.
