Kolibri Global Energy Inc. Faces Management Cease Trade Order

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., April 04, 2024– Kolibri Global Energy Inc. has recently announced that its application for a management cease trade order (MCTO) under National Policy 12-203 – Management Cease Trade Orders has been accepted by the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC). This decision comes after the company experienced delays in filing its annual information form, annual audited financial statements, management’s discussion and analysis, and related officer certifications for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.

The MCTO, effective as of April 3, 2024, was issued by the BCSC due to the delay in filing the Annual Filings. Kolibri Global Energy Inc. expects to file the necessary documents as soon as they are available and no later than May 31, 2024. The company will issue a news release once the Annual Filings have been submitted.

Until the Annual Filings are completed, Kolibri Global Energy Inc. will comply with the alternative information guidelines outlined in NP 12-203, including the issuance of bi-weekly default status reports in the form of news releases. The company has confirmed that there have been no material changes in the information previously disclosed.
