US Faces Decreased Global Grain Supplies, Leading to Increased Prices

Global grain supplies are expected to be tighter in the upcoming season, leading to potential price hikes for agricultural commodities as economies continue to grapple with persistent inflation. According to a recent forecast by the US Department of Agriculture, world wheat stockpiles for the 2024-25 season are estimated at 253.6 million metric tons, the lowest level in eight years.
