US News ranks the top 10 high schools in Oklahoma for 2024

Ten Oklahoma high schools have made it to the top 25% of high schools nationwide, according to the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Rankings. The study evaluated approximately 25,000 high schools across the country based on six indicators of school quality, including college readiness, college curriculum breadth, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rate.

Leading the pack is Classen High School of Advanced Studies in Oklahoma City, with a national rank of 926 and a college readiness index of 31.1. Following closely behind is Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a national rank of 1,153 and an impressive graduation rate of 98%.

Other notable high schools in Oklahoma that made the top 10 list include Kiowa High School, Dove Science Academy High School, Memorial High School, Cheyenne High School, Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College, Harding Charter Preparatory High School, Warner High School, and Edmond North High School.

These rankings are based on data from the Oklahoma State Department of Education and serve as a testament to the dedication and hard work of both students and educators in these schools.
