The US Police have debunked rumors circulating on social media about the death of Goldy Brar, the gangster allegedly involved in singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder. Reports emerged claiming that Brar was killed in a shooting incident in California, but the Fresno police department has clarified that these claims are false.
Two men were indeed shot in Fairmont and Holt Avenue in Fresno, California following a fight, with one of them succumbing to his injuries in the hospital. However, the victim has been identified as 37-year-old Xavier Galdney, not Goldy Brar as speculated.
Lieutenant William J. Dooley addressed the misinformation, stating, “If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar’, we can confirm that this is absolutely not true.” He emphasized that the police department has been inundated with inquiries from around the world due to the spread of false information.
Goldy Brar, also known as Satinderjit Singh, is a wanted criminal and has been labeled a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He gained notoriety after claiming responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was fatally shot near his village in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
The Fresno police department’s swift response to dispel the rumors surrounding Goldy Brar’s alleged death highlights the importance of verifying information before spreading it on social media platforms.
