The USC men’s tennis team is gearing up for a showdown against Arizona in the Pac-12 Championship Tournament dual. The No. 7-seeded Trojans will face off against the No. 2-seeded Wildcats at Libbey Park in Ojai, Calif. The Trojans are seeking redemption after being swept at home by Arizona earlier in the season.

Currently ranked 53rd in the country, USC boasts talented players like Peter Makk, who is ranked 76th individually, and the doubles squad of Makk and Lodewijk Weststrate, ranked 59th. In their last match, the Trojans dominated unranked Utah, with strong performances in both singles and doubles play.

USC has a rich history in the Pac-12 tournament, having won the past four titles and five out of the last six. They have a total of seven tournament titles since the conference started the team tournament in 2012.

On the other side, Arizona comes into the matchup ranked 11th in the country with a record of 21-3. The Wildcats have three ranked individuals and one ranked doubles squad, making them a formidable opponent for the Trojans.
