The University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business in Knoxville has once again proven its excellence in supply chain management graduate programs. For the third consecutive year, the programs have been ranked No. 3 among public schools and No. 4 nationally in the U.S. News and World Report 2024 Best Graduate Business Schools specialty rankings.
This achievement marks a decade of being in the top 10 and five years in the top five for Haslam’s supply chain masters programs. The full-time Haslam MBA program also received recognition, ranking No. 22 among public schools and No. 47 nationally.
Dean of the college, Stephen L. Mangum, attributed the success to the institution’s commitment to delivering a world-class academic experience. He highlighted the strong corporate connections, ongoing academic research, and faculty expertise that contribute to the students’ robust career outcomes.
In 2022, 95 percent of MBA students secured positions within three months of graduation, with an average starting salary of $110,914 and an average signing bonus of $17,608. Mangum emphasized the college’s focus on providing students with the most current knowledge and tools to excel in the business world.
The rankings reflect the perspectives of business school deans and graduate program leadership, considering factors such as job placement, starting salaries, and peer reviews. Haslam College of Business offers a wide range of graduate and executive education programs, including MBA options, specialized master’s degrees, and doctoral programs in various business disciplines.
