SAN DIEGO, California – Utah State men’s tennis team clinched the Mountain West regular season title with a dominant 4-0 victory over San Diego State on Saturday. This victory marks USU’s fourth MW regular season tennis championship since 2016, showcasing their consistent excellence in the sport.

Head coach Aaron Paajanen expressed his pride in the team’s performance, stating, “The guys knew what was on the line today and they came ready to play. I am so happy for them and what they accomplished this season.”

The Aggies started the match strong by securing the doubles point with wins from pairs Stijn Paardekooper and Nuno Pinheiro, as well as Sergi Micó Fenollar and Bodin Zarkovic. In singles play, Zarkovic, Fenollar, and Mohammad Alkotop all posted straight-set victories to clinch the match for Utah State.
