Valery Brown-Alce Named Deputy Director General of Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation
In a recent announcement by the Hon. I. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Bahamas tourism veteran Valery Brown-Alce has been appointed as the newest Deputy Director General of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation.
DPM Cooper expressed his pleasure in appointing Mrs. Brown-Alce to this crucial role, highlighting her extensive experience in the tourism industry spanning over three decades. He emphasized her results-driven approach and inclusive attitude towards team members, noting that her professional record will bring tremendous value to her new position.
As Deputy Director General, Brown-Alce will be responsible for developing and implementing global sales strategies, managing relationships with international airlines, retailers, and tour operators, as well as overseeing the Bahamas Tourist Offices in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

A native of Grand Bahama Island, Brown-Alce has a wealth of experience in both private and public tourism marketing sectors, having worked in various Bahamas Tourism Offices across the United States. She is currently based in New York and will continue to work from her office there.
