Varun Aaron praises Kuldeep Yadav’s game-changing over against RR, calling him phenomenal

The 29-year-old cricketer from Kanpur came on to bowl the 18th over of the innings with RR needing 41 runs to win off the last three overs. Kuldeep delivered under pressure, picking up the crucial wickets of Donovan Ferreira and Ravichandran Ashwin, while giving away just four runs. Former India fast bowler Varun Aaron praised Kuldeep for his composure and game-changing performance in the death overs.

Aaron credited DC skipper Rishabh Pant for trusting Kuldeep to bowl in such a crucial phase of the game. He commended Pant for making a brave call and giving the ball to Kuldeep, who delivered with precision and skill.

Kuldeep’s superb form in the IPL continued as he finished with figures of 2/25 in four overs, helping DC successfully defend a total of 221 and win the game by 20 runs. With 14 wickets to his name from nine innings at an average of 20.50, Kuldeep has been a standout performer for Delhi this season.

Following their win against RR, DC currently sits in the fifth spot in the points table with 12 points from 12 matches. With two games remaining against RCB and LSG, DC will be looking to secure wins in their remaining fixtures to strengthen their case for qualification to the playoffs.
