Venu Sports named as the official brand for the joint sports streaming service by ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery

Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. have joined forces to create a new sports bundle subscription service set to launch later this year. The platform, named Venu Sports, will combine the sports programming from ESPN, Fox Sports, and TNT, offering viewers a wide range of NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and college sports content.

Venu Sports CEO Pete Distad revealed the brand name for the service, which was previously referred to by fans as “Spulu” when the joint venture was first announced in February. The platform is expected to include popular networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, TNT, TBS, and more.

While the price of the service has not been disclosed, it will be available to ESPN+, Hulu, and Max subscribers as part of a bundle. This move aims to provide viewers with a more affordable alternative to traditional cable packages, especially for those who primarily watch sports content.

However, some notable networks like CBS and NBC will not be included in the Venu Sports package, meaning fans may miss out on NFL broadcasts, NCAA basketball tournaments, and Olympics coverage. Despite this, the platform promises to deliver a top-notch streaming experience for sports enthusiasts.
