Inland Empire Health Plan Celebrates 5th Anniversary of Victorville Community Wellness Center
Inland Empire Health Plan officials are gearing up to celebrate the 5th anniversary of their Victorville-based Community Wellness Center. The free family-friendly celebration is set to take place on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 12353 Mariposa Road, Suites C2 and C3 in Victorville.
The event will feature promotions, raffles, toy giveaways, snacks, balloon twisters, IEHP Superheroes, fitness and cooking demonstrations, facility tours, and more. The Community Wellness Center offers year-round classes and resources at no cost.
Since its opening, the center has provided hope and support to individuals struggling with weight, loneliness, and those in need of additional services such as housing, after-school programs, and food. With nearly 135,000 residents in Victorville, many have had to travel outside the area for essential services. The center aims to bridge the gap between limited resources and the residents who require them.
Inland Empire Health Plan is among the top 10 largest Medicaid health plans and the largest not-for-profit Medicare-Medicaid public health plan in the nation. The wellness center has been certified as “A Great Place To Work” for the third consecutive year. With over 1.5 million residents enrolled in Medicaid or IEHP DualChoice, Inland Empire Health Plan continues to support Riverside and San Bernardino County residents.
