Video footage suggests that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs may have physically assaulted Cassie

LOS ANGELES – Shocking security video aired by CNN has revealed disturbing footage of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly physically assaulting his former protege and girlfriend, singer Cassie, in a Los Angeles hotel hallway in 2016.

The video, dated March 5, 2016, shows Combs, clad only in a white towel, punching and kicking Cassie, as well as shoving and dragging her. The footage also captures Combs throwing a vase in her direction. This incident closely mirrors the description of an alleged assault at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, as detailed in a lawsuit filed by Cassie in November of the same year.

Although the lawsuit was settled the day after it was filed, it sparked further legal action against Combs, including additional lawsuits and a federal criminal sex-trafficking investigation that led to raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami. Combs has consistently denied the allegations in the lawsuits, with his legal team maintaining his innocence.

Representatives for Combs have not yet commented on the newly surfaced video. However, Douglas Wigdor, an attorney for Cassie, praised her courage in coming forward and shedding light on the alleged abuse. The video has only served to reinforce the disturbing behavior attributed to Combs, according to Wigdor.

CNN, which aired the video, confirmed the location of the incident by comparing it to publicly available images of the InterContinental Hotel. The Associated Press typically does not disclose the identities of individuals who claim to have been sexually abused, unless they choose to come forward publicly, as Cassie has done in this case.

The revelation of this video has reignited scrutiny of Combs and his alleged actions, prompting a renewed focus on the issue of abuse in the entertainment industry.
