Ville-Marie Expressway to be Closed for Weekend Traffic from May 10-13, 2024

This weekend, drivers in and around Montreal should be prepared for several road disruptions that could affect their travel plans. Here are some key closures and detours to be aware of:

– Highway 13: In Laval, lanes will be closed southbound between Exit 12 (Notre-Dame Blvd.) and the Louis-Bisson bridge to Montreal from 10 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Sunday. Expect one lane closed on Saturday, two lanes closed on Sunday, and three of four lanes closed overnight.

– Highway 19: The Papineau-Leblanc Bridge, connecting Laval and Montreal along Highway 19, will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Friday to 4:30 a.m. Monday. Northbound closure between Henri-Bourassa Blvd. and de la Concorde Blvd., and southbound closure from Highway 440 to Henri-Bourassa Blvd.

– Route 136: The Ville-Marie Expressway will be completely closed in both directions from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Eastbound closure starts at the Turcot Interchange, except for traffic from Highway 15 south, which will exit at Atwater Ave. Westbound closure starts at Panet St. and ends at Lucien-L’Allier St. entrance.

– Route 132/138: In Kahnawake, the ramp from Route 132 west to Route 132/138 west will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Traffic will detour onto the Mercier Bridge and U-turn at Clément St.
