Virginia Tech’s part-time Evening MBA program has once again secured the top spot in Virginia, as per the latest rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. The program, held at the Northern Virginia Center, has also been ranked as the third-best in the greater Washington, D.C., metro area.

The rankings, which are released annually, aim to assist working professionals and individuals with various commitments in finding the right part-time MBA program for them. To be eligible for ranking, a business school must have been accredited by AACSB International in the summer of 2022.

The part-time Evening MBA program at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business is designed to cater to full-time working professionals, allowing them to pursue an MBA at their own pace while enhancing their workplace experiences. The program’s flexible, in-person class format encourages active participation, collaboration among peers, and networking opportunities with faculty and alumni.

Starting in 2025, the program will move to the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus in Alexandria, offering a state-of-the-art learning environment. The campus’s proximity to the nation’s capital and leading tech companies like Amazon’s HQ2 will provide students with unique networking opportunities and industry connections.

Parviz Ghandforoush, associate dean for graduate programs, credits the program’s continued success to the high caliber of students, engaged faculty, and supportive program staff. The strong peer assessment score reflects Pamplin’s research performance and innovative curriculum.
